"Amy Marquis is a master at her craft! I recently contacted Amy to sell a rental property. Unsure about whether or not to renovate, I figured whatever money I put into an update I'd get back and more. By the same token, I didn’t exactly want to go through the hassle and mess of a reno. Amy pored over the comparables and studied the market, concluding a renovation wasn’t necessary to get top dollar and suggesting that the house just needed a paint job and good staging. She was absolutely correct and I received several offers — all considerably over asking — and closed 60 days later. Simultaneously, I hired Amy to help update my home. She patiently listened to my list of wants and needs and asked about my decorating style and budget. Afterwards, she presented two completely disparate renovation paths: a major overhaul — involving removing posts and walls and installing new load-bearing beams to open up the entire main floor — and a simpler update that didn’t involve removing walls. She explained the pros and cons of each option and suggested some ingenious storage and design solutions that I'd never seen before. Side note: Besides her own talents, Amy has a stable of trustworthy contacts in all the trades, so she’s able to save you money. Working with Amy was a pleasure. Amy is a Licenced REALTOR®, with Keller Williams Community Real Estate, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 2001, with a focus on Interior Design. She has an understanding of matching the needs of individual lifestyles to house styles and is able to speak to floor plans, renovations, structural elements, and new home builds. Amy consults clients on their decor / design house projects & layouts, has flipped 4 homes, as well as, recently designed and project managed the build of a waterfront home in Northumberland County from start to completion. Her time spent growing up in Durham Region, now living in Northumberland County, along with her experience, provides her the ability to strategically market & showcase homes, as well as, understand the demographics and community neighbourhoods. Amy has taken the time to build her network of contractors and other trusted vendors such as mortgage brokers, laywers, insurance brokers, home inspectors, etc. so she can provide full concierge service along with home staging, professional photography, and paid marketing. She takes pride in providing consistent five star service!

Amy enjoys spending her down time at home and really enjoys her vacations down south and to Alberta. She is a big supporter of giving back to the community and supporting first responders & medical staff as she has many friends and family members within emergency services.
