What do Clients Say?
I sought the best realtor for selling my condo in Brookline, and I found him -- Eric Glassoff. Eric thoroughly assessed our property and the market, created a solid plan, properly set my expectations, and then worked everyday to exceed them. He has the energy of a hyperactive 25 year old, the brains of a genius scholar, and the demeanor and diplomacy of a golden retriever, with decades of experience selling properties in and around Brookline. He knows all the ropes, and most importantly, he has excellent contacts for everything I needed. He had excellent relationships with great contractors of all types: Bathrooms, painters, stagers, cleaners, movers, lawyers, photographers, handymen, general fixers and I'm sure many other ones that I hadn't needed. His contractors were not only high quality and priced well, they jumped into action immediately when Eric called. Above all, communication was key for me. Eric stayed in touch with me and was easy to reach, always that day. He made me feel like I was his only client -- but he had 20 homes for sale or pending closings at the same time -- and I never knew it. We needed to sell quickly, and I was at the disadvantage of not knowing realtors in the Boston area, and I did not want to use the realtor that helped buy our condo. So I started the search by combing through all of the data and reviews online. I also got some recommendations from people in Boston close to the real estate industry. I narrowed down to my top 4 and interviewed them. Eric Glassoff clearly stood out for me as my number one. I actually gave the names of the 3 competitors to one of my interviewees. He cut down 2 of them, but he had endless words of praise for Eric Glassoff. Even though I am demanding, anxious, skeptical, detailed, and always have a lot of questions, he worked well with me to address and alleviate all of my concerns. I'll never forget early on when I asked Eric what can we do to make ourselves most successful to achieve highest profit and the quickest sale. He said the biggest problem he sometimes has is when sellers are not willing to do what he recommends. I decided then that I would do everything that Eric and his stager recommended -- and I am so glad I did. We sold at the first open house, and got more than any of us hoped. We had to spend some money to prepare the condo for sale, but we made 10 times more that amount in increased profit! It wasn't because of this great market, it was because I listened to Eric and did everything he recommended. I cannot wait to buy and sell in Brookline again, and I will always use Eric Glassoff.

I will state at the outset that I have hired Eric Glassoff to be my Real Estate agent on more than one occasion. The reason is because Eric is the best realtor in the state of Massachusetts. Eric works tirelessly for his clients with a dedication and thoroughness that is not often found in the industry. He guides you through the process and communicates frequently in order to make sure that you are completely comfortable and all concerns are alleviated. Eric is extremely well informed and in the rare instances that he doesn't have an immediate answer to your question, he will locate an answer quickly and will disseminate that information in an understandable and relatable way. When others involved in the process let me down, Eric picked up the slack and kept the process moving. Whatever your expectations are, I can guarantee you that Eric Glassoff will exceed them. Hire him! You will not be sorry.

It was a pleasure working with Eric Glassoff - who recently sold my Brookline condo in six days. From the very beginning, I appreciated Eric’s communication style. He listened to what I said, offered recommendations while respecting mine, responded promptly, kept me on point with my “tasks” (which I appreciated!), and found the perfect balance of keeping in touch along the journey - not too much, not too little. Eric is very professional - from all his personal interactions to his first class marketing materials. In addition, he has a network of associates who can help with just about anything you need. I had some odds and ends work that needed to be done before closing and he recommended someone for every job - all reliable and professional. Being a Brookline resident, Eric’s extremely knowledgeable about the area - especially helpful when dealing with realtors and potential buyers from out of town. And most importantly Eric knows the real estate market. He thoughtfully speculated a selling price-range early in our discussions and then he carefully monitored the market before recommending a listing price. And he was right on - we received an excellent offer which held up through closing. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Eric pretty much took the angst out of my selling experience (there’ll always be angst!) and I’m very grateful. Without hesitation, I recommend Eric as an excellent realtor. You won’t be disappointed.

Working with Eric made the daunting prospect of finding a condo in the competitive Brookline market a surprising breeze. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Brookline area and the various quirks and peccadillos that give each subneighborhood their flair. My wife and I both felt very comfortable with Eric. He was quick to point out the pros and cons of each potential property, playing out and considering the possibilities and counterfactuals for us aloud so we might see what our lives would look like years from now. When it came to placing an offer, Eric helped us negotiate a strong offer that was able to win out without overpaying. In particular, Eric strategically placed a slightly lower offer than we had indicated was our max. This lower bid won out and saved us many thousand dollars; this strategy was against his own interests as he lost out on some commission. In summary, would strongly vouch for Eric's integrity, knowledge, and overall prowess as an agent.

Among many text messages and emails we exchanged with Eric, I found myself writing this one: “efficient is not enough to describe you Eric”. And this one sentence summarizes who Eric is at a professional level. Eric made the process of purchasing a home easy and reliable. I felt safe and well informed all along the way. He is highly knowledgable and has this unique sense of also knowing “what he does not know”; he will never make up an answer. He will do his due diligence and give you a sound proper response. And he writes short (very short) emails, always to the point; which I welcome. Among many attributes he has a real state agent I would underline two: - his network and resources; he knows who to contact you with, form a mortgage agent, to a real estate lawyer or a locksmith. Ask him and he will give you good advice. - he is phenomenal at negotiating pricing. And this is a really important part of the puzzle when purchasing a home. In the end it’s a financial decision and having the proper guidance on how to play your cards and were/when to push or give up is almost an art. He has the skills to walk you through that swiftly. I could not be happier to have had him as my agent and will definitely work with him in the future if I ever have the chance.
