What do Clients Say?

Mark was unbelievably conscientious and efficient with the transaction of our property. He stayed on top of all the inspections, which was particularly helpful as we were out-of-town sellers. His team did a great job of marketing our property, which went into contract less than 3 weeks after it was listed and then closed 16 days later. They were also great about communicating throughout the entire escrow process and explained the documentation in a way that was helpful to an ignorant seller (me). If you want your property represented by an expert with over 30 years of experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Mark Stevens & Associates.

I recently had the privilege of working with Mark Stevens on a very successful but complex commercial vineyard-tasting room transactions. Mark is a rare combination of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mark and can highly recommend him to anyone contemplating a commercial or residential real estate deal.”

“I have worked with Mark on 3 transactions, one wine-related, one residential and one commercial. In each deal, Mark has demonstrated a deep knowledge of real estate in general and of Sonoma County in particular. Integrity, diligence and professionalism makes Mark my ‘go-to guy for real estate deals in Sonoma. He’s also fun to work with. I consider him a trusted advisor.”

About Mark

For those looking to buy or sell a winery in Sonoma, Napa, or Mendocino County, realtor Mark Stevens is a powerful ally.  Stevens draws from over 30 years of expertise in the region as a country properties specialist, with training as a commercial broker and extensive counseling in real estate investment and development.

Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington. His passion for science propelled him to further study viticulture in the mid-90s, which led to work with Sonoma Cutrer (Brown-Forman). Over the years, he has enjoyed working with many prominent figures in the wine industry, on the sides of both vineyard and winery sales and acquisitions.  He has assisted and advised in completing transactions with the following industry players: Kendall Jackson, Gallo, Paul Hobbs, Patz & Hall, Michel-Schlumberger (Jacques Schlumberger and The Adams Group), Carlisle Winery, and Richard and Saralee Kunde.

“I love this business,” he says. “It is exciting to participate in the process and counseling of property owners and businesses that make a real difference in the intelligent, rewarding use of our lands. [We’re] keeping our North Bay on a firm agricultural footing for generations to come through sustainable farm practices, and supporting a growing wine industry providing rewarding work for our residents.”
