About Carrie

 Carrie Montoya has strong ties to Northern New Mexico. She was raised in Pojoaque, NM and has spent most of her adult career in Los Alamos. She been a licensed NM Real Estate Associate Broker since April 2013 and is part of the National Association of REALTORS®. Motivated by the love of Real Estate, Carrie obtained her Qualifying Brokers license in November 2015. She is also a certified Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®), Seller Representative Specialist (SRSsm) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). Carrie was also the 2018 Past President of the Los Alamos Association of REALTORS®. In December 2018, Carrie was awarded the Los Alamos REALTOR® of the Year award. In January of 2019, she was inducted as a State Director for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®. Carrie is also part of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee and is a Sterling R investor in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). RPAC is a national bipartisan grassroots-based political advocacy organization that works to protect the real estate industry and the dream of homeownership for residents across the country. Carrie has been an RPAC Trustee for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® since 2021. Carrie joined Coldwell Banker Legacy in June of 2019. In her first year and again in 2022, Carrie was awarded for being in the Top 20% of Coldwell Banker Legacy Realtors in Production. In 2020 and 2021, Carrie ranked as the Top 15% of Coldwell Banker Legacy Realtors in Production. Carrie worked extremely hard and obtained her C2EX (Commitment to Excellence) certification from the National Association of REALTORS® which was obtained in April of 2020. Carrie’s newest accomplishment was in July 2023 when she became a member of the Institute of Luxury Homes. Carrie provides Real Estates services to Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Bernalillo County, Los Alamos, Jemez Springs, Pojoaque, Santa Fe and Rio Arriba County. Carrie enjoys helping first time home buyers and specializes in providing Real Estate services in rural areas. She is very proficient in helping clients buy and sale manufactured homes and properties with septic and wells. Carrie has a bachelor’s degree in business management and prior to working in Real Estate she worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory for seven years. She also worked for Los Alamos National Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
