Andrea brought an intimate knowledge of the property given that she actually lives in the development. She was also quite familiar with the owner’s and their expectations. Although, there were a couple of awkward moments in the transition from “for sale by owner” to her listing the property, we were able to overcome such. In the interest of keeping things simple I chose not to engage a second realtor in the process to represent me. I chose to work with her as the listing agent throughout the transaction. I could only do this if there was trust that she would be able to balance the needs of both buyer and seller well. I believe she did this and I was able to acquire the property for my targeted price and expedite a close within three weeks of signing a purchase agreement!
