About Penelope

My name is Penny Lehmann, I am a Global Luxury agent and I joined the Coldwell Banker Realty premier office in Southwest Florida in 2009. We are all one world and we all live on a beautiful planet called Earth. Everyone has a story in life, here is a short story about me and I am hoping to meet you to hear yours! 

How I moved to Florida... years ago, I had a father-in-law who lived a great life on the East coast of Florida and he was a gourmet chef at the Scotch and Sirloin and cooked for Jackie Gleason and Bob Hope. Every year we came to Florida to see him while on vacation and wow what a lifestyle, I never wanted to leave.  

Years went by, I got married to my childhood sweetheart and my husband served in the service. He was transferred to Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. I left my job in Ohio, bought a plane ticket and flew to to Oahu to be with my husband and that is when my eyes really opened up, another paradise was found! When disharged honorably from the service, we left back to the mainland, and we said one day we are going to move to a beautiful place near the ocean again and live in warm weather. We moved back to Ohio where we grew up, preparing for a new venture of being parents with a new soon to be born son and to be closer to our parents. Then our last and final move was leaving Northwest Ohio to escape the cold winters and move to Florida start a life we wanted so badly.  

I relocated permanently with my job to Southwest Florida in October 1985. I craved warm weather, sunshine, sunsets, beaches and boating. If you are thinking of relocating to our area, I have extensive local knowledge and I have traveled abroad overseas. I have been there, unknown to my new destination, learning a new area and staying safe, how to meet friends, joining clubs and meeting other boaters. It's not aways easy .... but I am here as a friend and adviser to help you through my real life experiences and my knowledge of our area. I would love to share my stories and I would enjoy hearing yours!  

My entire adult life has been dedicated to serving the public. My past work experience was a successful multi-store owner franchise operator in SW Florida and VP of Operations of Riviera Homes and Sanctuary Homes also in SW Florida, working with Buyers and Contractors in new home construction for the luxury market. This allowed me to learn the demographics and to fit the needs and lifestyles of the client and importantly learning materials in the home building product.
