About Laury

Laury Gardner is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Living Down South Realty, South Carolina Broker in Charge, and serves clients in North/Northeast Georgia and Western Upstate South Carolina specializing in residential and lake property. Laury has always been surrounded by real estate professionals starting her career working for the family brokerage in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Prior to founding Living Down South Realty, Laury was the Managing Broker for three offices at Keller Williams Realty Lanier Partners and also serves on the Georgia Association of REALTORS® statewide Professional Standards Panel.

Relocating from Chicago area to South Carolina in 1999, Laury began her own real estate career in 2000, and earned her Brokers license in 2004. After meeting her husband Guy Victor, she moved to Georgia in 2007 where she has since served as President of two different Boards of REALTORS®. Leveraging her vast industry experience, Laury leads the marketing, accountability, and best practice pursuits for the Living Down South Group.  A graduate of Illinois State University, Laury began her professional sales career as Event Sales Manager for the original Maggiano’s, located in Chicago. Combining experience, understanding of real estate law, strategy, and work ethic, Laury is positioned to deliver the results her clients deserve.   Around the office, Laury is often heard saying, “This is why we do what we do.”

Laury and her husband “Vic”, currently live in Northeast, GA by way of Lake Lanier, and have been married since 2008. Her daughter Riley recently graduated magna cum laude from University of West Florida and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. Her stepson Garrett graduated magna cum laude and is in the recording industry in Tennessee.  Her other stepson Dawson, a graduate of The Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, is currently in sales in Dallas, TX.   Laury & Vic work together and have both earned GUILD recognition.
