About Lana

Lana Parks knows what it’s like to move around the country. She was born and raised in Honolulu,

Hawaii, moved to Bend, Oregon in 2001, to Gulf Breeze, Florida in 2006, and finally to Fort Walton

Beach, Florida in 2018. Lana also understands the military moving process - Permanent Change of

Station (PCS). Not only is she designated a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and a Florida Military

Specialist (FMS), but she also served for 15 years in the Army Reserve.

A REALTOR®for 10 years, Lana also has the distinction of having been a licensed contractor during her time

in Oregon. She worked for a home builder overseeing the superintendents and project managers and

was a painting contractor for three years. Buyers and sellers working with Lana have the additional

benefit of knowing Lana looks beyond just the cosmetic attributes of a home.

Being raised in Hawaii has formed Lana’s professional work ethic. She works with the “spirit of Aloha”.

While many know Aloha as a Hawaiian greeting, it means much more. There’s a legend that says

Hawaiian children were taught the meaning of Aloha with the following acronym:

A: “Akahai,” kindness, expressed with tenderness

L: “Lokahi,” unity, expressed with harmony

O: “Oluolu,” agreeable, expressed with pleasantness

H: “Haahaa,” humility, expressed with modesty

A: “Ahonui,” patience, expressed with perseverance

Passionate about helping people find a home, Lana takes this responsibility seriously. She is committed

to a personal and professional life of compassion, kindness, happiness, humility, and perseverance.

Lana has three daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys fishing and reading real estate and self-improvement

books. Though she has lived on a boat traveling to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic,

Turks and Caicos Islands, and Puerto Rico; skydiving remains on her bucket list.

She ends her emails with the word “Mahalo”. It means to live in gratitude.
