There may be too many realtors, but I would say there may not be enough truly good realtors. Anne is one of the good ones. She’s smart, honest, well educated on market history and projections, and she will go out of her way to help however she can. As first time buyers in Kauai, we were a little nervous about our purchase, and it took awhile to finally get comfortable with a decision. Anne was patient and understanding—answering all our questions and concerns. I’ve seen Anne go above and beyond for her clients, including us. In a last minute cleaning emergency we had to get our place ready for 1st VR guests, Anne grabbed a vacuum and got to work. Great experience working with Anne. Thank you, Anne!

I don't think there is any way to write a review for Anne without it coming-across as exaggerated, but please know that I'm an engineer who values accuracy. I try very hard to evaluate everything on a linear scale rather than a hyperbolic one. But I genuinely cannot imagine how anyone could have been better at guiding us through our Kauai buying experience. There is just no question that Anne deserves a 5-star review, and the odds are good that if you're reading this then that's all you really need to know and you should just be hoping she's available to help you too. But I know I wouldn't blindly trust some random guy on the internet, so I'll also try to explain why: What Mary Poppins is for babysitting, Anne is for real estate. She shows-up exactly when you need her, carrying with her a superhuman level of wisdom about real estate and about Kauai specifically, while also being adept at understanding your needs and guiding you around the pitfalls of life (or at least of the real estate process... which becomes hard to distinguish from life at times). She replaces fear with comfort, uncertainty with answers, and sadness with inspiration, all while applying just enough discipline to ensure that everything gets done on time. It would not surprise me one bit if she figures-out how to use an umbrella to travel by the trade winds. (I feel the need to reiterate that I'm not exaggerating anything here). She simultaneously seems mythical and like you've known her your whole life. We had spent days (weeks?) looking through literally every listing on Zillow in our price range before we ever contacted Anne. We thought we knew which one we wanted, but put that aside to get Anne's unbiased opinion based purely on our needs, and sure enough that condo was in her top-3 suggestions. It felt perfect. The market was stagnant at the time due to uncertainty about interest rates, and we thought it would be a less stressful time to buy. So we worked up the courage to put 3x as much money into the Kauai dream as we had put into our primary home, and we put in an offer. And it was rejected. No counter, no bidding war, just rejected. It was like professing your love for someone only to have them laugh in your face and walk away. We felt crushed. But Anne was there to pick up the pieces. She became an earnest emotional support first, and then tried to help us see similar qualities in other units. But ultimately Anne knew we needed time to fall in love again and gave us some space. (Based on how fast that unit closed it almost certainly went to an all-cash offer which we never could have done, and which was especially valuable since it was a non-warrantable condo. I don't think Anne could have helped us write a better offer) Eventually a new listing popped-up that we loved, we got an accepted offer, and that's when Anne's professionalism really started to shine. She picked an awesome inspector, and managed to schedule a meeting with him on the one day we were already going to be on the island. She ensured we got all the documents we needed on time, and responded to all the questions we had about them incredibly quickly. She even gave us recommendations for property managers and suggested getting started on tax forms that had no bearing on the sale itself. Anne clearly was not just doing everything in her power to ensure we would succeed in closing; she was doing everything in her power to ensure we would be able to love our new home. Out of the months we were working with Anne and everything she did, the only negative things I can think of to point out were a couple typos I caught on the forms I was signing.. which I'm pretty sure were attributable to other people at Corcoran Pacific and not Anne herself. I'm really trying to balance out this review... but that's all I've got. And it's not even giving me enough space to list all the other ways Anne has helped us. So long story short: We started with nothing but an idea. Now we have a home we love, in a place we love, surrounded by people we love. Everything in-between was thanks to Anne.
