We started researching properties in the Washington, N.C. area, as well as several other locations in coastal N.C., before ever visiting the town and we selected her as our first choice in realtors based on her prior sales stats and her client references. She turned out to be a great choice. We arrived in town for our first meeting and she had a great welcome package for us with some listings based on the preferences that we had emailed to her. While not every selection rose to the level of serious consideration, they all met our general parameters and checked many of our boxes. Ultimately, one of her recommendations checked all of our boxes and we made an offer within 24 hours. She walked us through the process and reviewed the comps with us while helping us to place an acceptable offer. She also prevented us from making an offer that would have been slightly above the market. About Alexis

I grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from Indiana University with an art degree, before attending the Peter Kump Cooking School in Manhattan, now the Insitute of Culinary Education, and later took several classes at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Having always had a love of art, architecture and cooking, I later found a way to merge the three and designed elaborate, award-winning custom wedding and event cakes in the Chicago/South Bend/Notre Dame area. In 2012 my husband's career in cybersecurity brought us to eastern North Carolina where, having come from land-locked Midwest, I fell in love with the rivers, sounds and coastal beauty of the Inner and Outer Banks. It was time for a change!

Since embarking upon my career as a real estate professional I have been fortunate to have 13 great years, and despite being a "transplant" surrounded by many experienced Beaufrot County natives, I became the top-selling agent at my first firm, Century 21, within 2 years. In 2021 I moved to Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage and have been the top producer here ever since, gaining recognition both locally and nationally for both sales and quality service. 

I am active in my local community as a volunteer, promoting the arts and advocating particularly for animals and our beautiful Pamlico River. I love gourmet cooking, entertaining, fitness, traveling, fine dining and wine, craft cocktails, rescue dogs, and football!
