– Meet the Staff –

Diane Hartley | President

Diane brings her passion for luxury marketing and more than 20 years of experience growing and leading businesses to her role as president of The Institute. Diane works with our staff, trainers, members, and strategic partners to enhance the experience of membership in The Institute. She is joining our team most recently from Travis Wolff, a Dallas based CPA and consulting firm focusing on high net worth individuals, where she was responsible for strategy and marketing. Prior to Travis Wolff, Diane served in numerous senior level management roles at The Dallas Morning News, including publisher of neighborsgo, the first local social media website in Dallas-Fort Worth and companion website for the print publication. She was also the sales leader responsible for launching F!D Luxe, the award-winning luxury magazine. Prior to her tenure at The Dallas Morning News, Diane held general management and sales management positions at a number of companies in telecom, media, and publishing. Diane is active in a number of non-profits, most notably Junior Achievement of Dallas, where she sits on the Board of Directors.

Amanda Butterfield | Program Marketing Manager

Amanda is passionate about creating luxury events for our members, giving them opportunities for professional growth, peer-to-peer connection, and community development. She has more than 12 years experience producing and planning events, from full scale event execution to developing marketing strategies to building strategic partnerships. Like many of our members, Amanda has run her own small business working with clients around the country, including Google and WeddingWire. Previously, Amanda worked in the nonprofit sector, managing events for the Central Texas Food Bank and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, where she was responsible for leading the annual gala. Outside of her work at The Institute, Amanda volunteers for KDH Dance, an Austin-based performing arts company that produces the Austin Dance Festival.

Jill Smith | Program Operations Specialist

Jill came to the Institute with extensive operations experience in the boutique luxury hotel and hospitality industry. In her role as Program Operations Specialist Jill works with our members on inquiries, webinars, and at times, in person at conferences and events like Leaders in Luxury. She is a self-professed “lifelong learner” and is constantly seeking ways to improve the membership experience with her new ideas for tools and resources. Jill is an avid cyclist and is a Licensed Massage Therapist working with private clients.

Laura Saladino | Senior Program Specialist

Laura’s experience working in non-profit organizations and customer service provides The Institute with valuable insights to assist and educate our members. Laura works with our partners and live training hosts to provide positive and enriching educational experiences for real estate professionals, ensuring that our members have the knowledge and resources necessary to succeed in the luxury market. Her previous roles include customer service with The Dallas Opera and the AT&T Performing Arts Center, and she actively participates in the Dallas-Fort Worth theatre community.

Jory Kirkendoll | Lead Program Specialist

Jory has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry providing data analysis, revenue strategy, and operations support. As Lead Program Specialist, Jory applies his passion for data and customer service by improving The Institute's processes and member services. In his free time, Jory enjoys kayak fishing, gardening, and is a freelance artist who works in both classic and digital medias.
